Purchased mine on July 10, 2003. Worked great right out of the box. I have a wireless hub (Linksys) at home and it connected without a hitch. I've had problems connecting to this network on a different laptop with a PCMCIA wireless card. Also connected a USB cordless optical mouse, no issues.
Screen resolution and performance are excellent; I do Java development and almost I have more real estate on this screen than I do with a 19" desktop monitor.
Fan noise is loud, but I haven't found this machine becoming excessively hot.
Did ship with recovery CDs which I was concerned about. Bought at BestBuy and they said that it didn't have CDs.
Have not had a reason to call Tech Support, so I marked it as excellent.
