Pros: Fast and quite
Cons: Some software incompatibilities. Tech support located overseas. Hard to understand.
The Bottom Line: At this time, I would not recommend buying an HP. Too many other comparable computers out there for the same or less money.

I bought this PC approx. 2mos ago. Initially had trouble with the pre-installed Norton anit-virus POP scan and Outlook express. (Had to disable the pop scan) Also trouble with the system restore. Then everything went ok for a month or so and then my computer screen all of sudden went black and would not boot up. HP tech support narrowed it down to the motherboard. So, this virtually brand new computer had to be sent to HP for repair. I will be without a computer for approx. two weeks. Hopefully, it will come back better than when it was brand new. Also HP tech support has a little bit to be desired. After talking with them numerous times over the last two months, I have found that that most of their online/telephone techs are actually located overseas (not US). They were all very nice and helpful but they were extremely hard to understand due to their heavy accent. Not to mention the HP tech called me back at 11:30 at night to follow up with me.........Not to happy needless to say. This was my 1st HP and probably will be my last.
