Pros: Great voice transfer quality, simple to use, pretty stable
Cons: Popups, the full version is not free (as YM for ex), many "server-down"s
The Bottom Line: I've already recommended PalTalk to all my friends, and I'm sure you'll love this little thing!

PalTalk is a pretty good messenger, especially for the private room managing. The quality of heared voice is the best comparing to all the other voice messenger programs (i've tryed them all, or almost all))
The file transfer system is not too good, there is no possibility to choose where the file will go.
Security level is unknown, and i would love to see a "PalTalk security" related page on the home site.
Good and easy administration of your own room.
Easy configuration.
The only major default is the need to pay for the full version. To say the truth - there is no too big difference between ful version of PalTalk and the free Yahoo!Messenger, for ex.
Resume: the program is pretty young and not very "final-ready-to-use-version", but it's allready a lovely piece. Even the free version.
