Purchased because my system already has Norton virus. Easy installation but once installed I had two days of problems - could not view any websites without disabling the Firewall (which defeats the purpose of the software).
Symantec's Tech Support is frustrating to use. Symantec offers no "live" tech support, so you have to email them and wait up to 4 days to receive a response. I was lucky and got my response the next day suggesting I access a link on their website, which was useless because I couldn't access any websites by this time. Installed and uninstalled the software twice.
Making the situation worse, my system was attacked by the Spybot.worm virus. Symantec's tech support website was of no use in helping rid my computer of this virus.
Finally had to do a system restore before the software would work properly.
