250 MB USB zip--Exactly what I expected!

Pros:250 MB, small, stylish, uses 250MB and 100MB disks, hot swappable, cool vertical stand
Cons:Hard to put a disk in and take out if laying down.
The Bottom Line: Great add-on, small and neat looking-- just make sure it is what you need and not a CD writer or new hard drive.
My last computer's hard drive was 2.1 gigabytes. Laugh at it now, but you know you had one just as bad, just probably not as recently. This 250 MB USB ZIP drive was exactly what the doctor ordered. I had no problems installing the software or using the drive. I saved all my files on just five disks and could use all my old 100 MB disks as well. This drive is also a lot quicker than my old 100 MB parallel ZIP drive. I can save 250 MB of files through the USB faster than I could save 100 MB through the parallel port. The only word of caution that I have is--
Make sure you need one. Since I got a 40 gig hard drive, I hardly use the ZIP except to transfer files to and from my laptop. So, if you need a drive to store a lot of files and you want it to be easy to install and use, this ZIP is great.
