Yes...some store brands do have a better taste than their competitros who always charge more.
My hubby is the king of store brand experimentation where as I was always buying brand names...since meeting him, I have learned a great deal about shopping.

I'm familiar with this brand, too!
I can't think just what kind of product it was that I've used of theirs, but it was delicious.
Another brand of blueberry preserves I simply love is put out by Kroger (otherwords, a store brand), so store brand items can be delicious, too!

We make strawberry shortcake all the time, so this might come in handy, if I can find it! I make some biscuits, throw on topping and some whipped cream- and voila- what an awesome dessert.
I'll take a look and see if our grocery stores have it. Thanks!

You are som right about the Comstock brands on the pie filling I make the little cheescakes and use the cherry pie filling the store brand just isn't the same as Comstock. Great Job as always.
