A risk worth taking

The Bottom Line Do it, you may regret it it you don't

I have a three year old daughter. Last year she had a stay in The John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, England when she had pneumonia. Possibly the worst month of my life.

If I could have immunised her against that I would have done. I certainly had her immunised against everything else that I was advised to. Certainly I had my doubts when I read the scare stories in the papers but if she had contracted something that I was advised previously could be prevented I would have been devastated. There are some things in life where you have to trust the people who should know better.

My child has suffered no ill effect whatsoever after being vaccinated. Unless being stroppy and not doing as she is told is an ill effect!

My daughter, when she was just twenty five months old, had four weeks in hospital in total. Fortunately she will not remember the experience. My wife and I will, and will do
everything we can to prevent that happening again.

You've got to vaccinated your kids, there may be an element of risk if you do, but a far greater risk if you don't.
