Cons: Everything you can think of and then some
The Bottom Line: There is no such thing as customer service at Alltel. You as the customer are always wrong and Alltel is always right.

All I can say is Alltel stinks. I had service through Cellular One who sold out to Alltel in the Phoenix area. The very first month I had Alltel service the bill was wrong, they were trying to bill me for a plan I had never signed up for. I ended up stuck in the queque from Hades waiting to talk to a customer service rep. After holding for half an hour I got to speak to an idiot disguised as a customer service rep. Basically I was told it was all my fault and there was nothing that Alltel could or would do to help me out. It always seems like there are no rules or policies at Alltel, instead everything is made up on the spur of the moment and no two customer service reps can agree on a solution.
Avoid Alltel at all costs, try At&T or anyone else but Alltel.
