Pros: excellent sounds, dispersed over a great distance, very durable in weather
Cons: a little bright, and not enough bass response when loud
The Bottom Line: For outside, great! If inside, buy these if you have a subber. These can cost a bit.

A fantastic speaker, and almost perfect-almost....very well recommended..and remember....get a subwoofer if using fomr home theatre......without, they're good, with one and they're great! The sound just spreads out everywhere !
The best I like them (and i'm a fanatic of music!) is actually movies-(if indoors) Even if you use them as main speakers and not sattelites, you would be surprised ! And they are worth it ! Look out Cerwin Vega ! Even though I think Cerwin is great, these speakers breathe and spread out the music, not jsut send it !
The only drawback is that they need a foam or rubber layer or sheet under them IF you don't wall mount them (no big deal) since they can get strong and start to pound a bit.....distortion is minimal to a bit too much at times when they are outside.....saying that these without a sub are not meant to be played too loud.
