Eats dog hair...but not much else.

Pros:Eats dog hair like crazy.
Cons:Doesn't eat sand and small rocks
The Bottom Line: Limited usage as it really doesn't replace any tools or appliances I already have. Broom and vacuum still necessary. Maybe the golden Lab would have been a better choice????
We put in hardwood floors this fall...and didn't think about the fact that we had a black dog. She's cute, we love her..but she's black...and her hair clashes magnificently with our light beech floors.
Eureka Superbroom to the rescue....I think. This is a pretty handy product for sucking black dog hair off of blonde floors. It's light weight, has a pretty long cord. The handle removes for a more compact appliance if you have stairs...we don't. You can easily remove the dust compartment to empty it after each use.
I've found that the Superbroom just doesn't get it all in terms of replacing the good old fashioned broom. It works great when our pup walks down the hall after we've done a pretty thorough sweeping, to pick up the hair that got missed. It's also great when the coffee grounds or flour go onto the kitchen floor. But it doesn't replace our broom, and doesn't have enough sucking power to replace our vacuum.
Basically, the Superbroom is a nice tool for a quick cleanup, but doesn't cut it for a thorough cleaning or a replacement for any of my basic cleaning tools.
