You should choose a martial art according to your moral condition and physical ability.

I see that Part 2 links to Part 1, but not vice versa. I found part 2 by searching for your profile and then all article you have written.
My kids are starting Tae Kwan Do, and I wanted to see how it compares with others. 30 years ago, a friend told me about Jeet Kune Do.
He explained it by taking off his wristwatch and tossing it to me. He explained "You didn't first assume a stance to catch the watch... you did the most direct mand efficient motion to accomplish what needed to be done". I liked that concept.

I studied Taekwon-do as a teen back in 73, long enough to get a green belt, long enough to start keeping my lunch money, hell any money. (Boston public schools were pretty ugly) I want people to know, that you do indeed know what your talking about here. I must've trained at a traditional school because I can remember being hesitant, (hell I'd be scared) when end of class sparring came around, it was bare feet and knuckles alright, (mainly feet) Ah the memories.

My nephew studies Taekwon-do locally, I went to the school, they all wore pads for sparring, I couldn't believe it.

Anyway you give a good amount of detail in short words on each martial style. I enjoyed the read, thx.

Very informative!

Me, I like qigong. I've tried various forms of exercise, and it's the only one I've been able to stick with.
