We ordered 6 mini-blind sets 8 years ago. They were American's own "premium" heavy 8-gauge blinds & we had GREAT difficulty getting them to replace some which arrived damaged. Now 8 years later, the tilt mechanism for one of the blinds has broken. We were told that the blind isn't under warranty (read their "limited lifetime warranty" - it covers defects for only 5 years) any longer & the part isn't available, anyway. When we bought the blinds, we had the impression the warranty was unlimited like Levolors. Once again, we're disappointed with them.
