...and if you don't mind, I'll add a couple.
1) Ease of sliding out liner tray. The hard work of cleaning birdcages should be as easy as possible. We have two; one tray slides out either of two directions and is a breeze to clean, with much room between grating and tray. The other is a flaming pain in the tukhus to clean; the plastic tray slides in only one way, so if stuff (inevitably) gets behind it, the whole cage has to be turned on its side and shaken out.
2) Ceramic seed and water cups. Ceramic is the only way to go. Being nearly inert, it can truly be cleansed of bacteria soup. A cage that uses an easily replaceable ceramic seed cup size is a wonderful thing.
I agree, though, with just about everything you say here. Nice job.
