Pros: Absolutely crystal clear. Save your eyes and get this monitor!!!
Cons: None that I've found so far.
The Bottom Line: If you're a diabetic with failing eyes, do yourself a big favor and start saving your precious eyesight by getting yourself this Samsung Syncmaster 213T!!!!

I've been looking for a very long time for a really good monitor. But like most people, the purchase of a monitor can be as intimidating as the purchase of any other computer component; what brand should I buy? how big should it be? is it really worth all that money? is their customer service as reliable as they claim once the sale is made? etc....
Well, I've owned nothing but samsung since the purchase of my first computer and my very first Samsung monitors are still working great! Customer service has always played a major role for any purchase I make and samsung has always given me exceptional technical help any time I've called or emailed.
I'm a diabetic and my eyes have begun to fail me. I need new glasses now about every 4 months and I knew that one day I would be needing a better monitor that would ease the strain that they can create over a period of 6 -12 hours a day. An LCD or flat monitor is supposed to be the ideal solution but it only seemed like a long-distance dream for me because I'm on a disability pension. Then one day my youngest sister shows up at my door with a brand new Samsung SyncMaster 213T monitor. This is a blissful 21.3 inches of shear beauty!!!!
I cannot fully describe the clarity and crispness this monitor portrays. It's been so long since I've been able to see anything so clearly. I had daily headaches, and they too have disappeared because I'm not straining so hard to see what I'm doing.
Now that's all with text; as for gaming.... I'm in heaven!!
I don't know who to thank more; my sister, or Samsung???
If you have a medical condition concerning your eyes, get this Samsung Syncmaster 213T. You only have one set of eyes so take very good care of them.
