Great Cd player for a good price

Pros: easy to use, great controls, equalizer capabilities good price
Cons: thieves seem to steal it even without the face plate!!!!!!!!

I bought my stereo in January of 2003, for $119.00 @ best buy, I got the 4 yr extended warranty through them that would cover cleaning of the stereo, removal and installation after cleaning, replacement if not working, and transferable. I loved my pioneer, it was my 2nd one, I had another CD player pioneer in my Geo, then i put in my Honda, eventually after having that one for 3 years, the CD player stopped working, then it was stolen from my Honda 7 mo. ago. I replaced it with the DEH-1400. Once again I was pleased with my purchase. Unfortunately I have enjoyed it for only 7mo, someone broke into my car again, and stole the base unit without the face plate. What will they do with that!!!!! I will be buying yet another pioneer, but the DEH-1500 model that replaces the 1400, the warranty will be transferred to the new one, so i wont lose the 39.00 i paid for it. Hopefully i will get many more years to enjoy it this time without theft. I have no idea what to do with the face plate of the 1400.
