The Bottom Line: A medium priced, excellent quality phone, with a classical design. Technology with an elegance touch.

Mobiles became the favorite toys for grown-ups. And I like these toys. In the last years I've been using mobiles from Ericsson, Nokia, Bosch, Sagem and Sony.
I reckon I've always had a feeble for Nokia and always kept an eye on their products. For me, the 6150 is one of the best options available and here's why:

The pros

Long battery life:
No need to emphasize the importance of battery life. I am actually using my mobile and found out that, even the slim battery will last for at least 3 days. My favorite is the medium one, it will last for 5 to 6 days and I actually enjoy the slight increase in size and weight it brings to the phone.

Excellent design:
My personal opinion is that one of the factors that contributed essentially to Nokia's success on the mobile market is the design. I am less attracted by hidden antennas or weird colors and forms. I like the Nokia line because it looks good and fits comfortably in my hand. Nokia found that special line that takes simplicity into elegance.

Features:
The wide range of features and excellent menu system make this phone extremely easy to use. If you, for example, have quite a large number of people calling you, you'll appreciate the Caller Groups feature. Even kids will enjoy the included games and the possibility to play in two by infrared.

A personal touch:
No matter how good a phone is and looks, almost everyone wants to make his/hers one be a little bit different. The included infrared port allows a high degree of customization of logos and sounds from a laptop, via several software programs available. There are even websites where you can design your own logo and upload it to your phone.

Accessories:
It's not that I use lots of accessories for my phone. It's just that I like to know I can fin them when needed. And Nokia offers for this model a range of original accessories wider that usual.

Quality:
Fancy or not, a mobile is primarily a phone. The 6150 has excellent sound quality even in low coverage areas.

The cons

Not much. It's merely a matter of taste. The default package comes with the slim battery, I would have preferred the medium sized one.

Recommended: Yes

Amount Paid (US$): 165
