I'm a clinical social worker, and I work with people with eating disorders. Your piece is a frank, nonglamourous portrayal of the truth. I'm afraid much of the public thinks a model munching tranquilly on a piece of lettuce when they hear "anorexia." I don't think many people understand what a constant inner battle it is.
Thank you, and good luck to you!

.....for your insight on eating disorders. I have two friends with eating disorders and both are in the process of recovery. They don't say much but this definitely helps me understand a lot more about what was going on with them and decodes a lot of their behaviors. Best of luck to you.

Why some women think they are fat is beyond me. I do not think those skinny fashion models are pretty. To me, they are scary looking.
I never fall in love with the physical body. I fall in love with the person's character and charisma.
I sincerely hope you beat Anorexia Nervosa . . . if not, please get help!
