MCI is absolutely useless in this lifetime..

The Bottom Line: I wouldn't recommend MCI to anyone that I know in this lifetime, even someone I didn't like.

I received a call from MCI last April of 2002. I listened to the guys script and after 10 minutes or so I told him I was not interested due to the fact they did not offer voice mail. Within 24 hours they had switched me!!!!! (I believe thats fraud last I looked)
It has taken me until now (Aug of 2003) to get my account cleared up. This has been the BIGGEST nightmare of my entire life regarding a phone bill. They have continued to send me bills, collection agency notices, call me..you name it, they have done it. I have phoned them (many many times), sent letters (records of all kept) but still nothing got resolved. I finally had to file a complaint with PUCO (public utilities commission of Ohio) to get this horrendous mess cleared up. The next step was my lawyer. I even went so far as to ask my local carrier to block their numbers. I have chosen a long distance carrier via lowermybills.com and have had absolutely no problems since early in the year.
The above incident should have never occurred with MCI. I would NOT recommend them to anyone personally or for business use. If a person is wise, they will stay clear of MCI.
