This is the nicest hotel I have EVER stayed in. WOW!
My expectations weren't too high. We booked through Expedia and paid about $70 for our one night stay.

WOW.
The lobby was pristine, but you should never judge a hotel by its lobby. They gave us two warm complimentary gourmet chocolate chip cookies when we checked in. They were made with Ghiradelli chocolate (our personal favorite) and they were DELICIOUS!
The room was HUGE! It included a giant bedroom, living room, (each with a television) FULL KITCHEN (yes, in our standard room, a kitchen!) dining area, a terrace overlooking the pool... and a clean, elegant bathroom with a shower massager to boot.
The beds were very comfortable, and atop the beds were two plump, freshly fluffed down pillows.
We didnt go in the pool, but it looked very nice. There were always people in it.
We ordered room service for breakfast and it was delicious.
The location is great- close to the airport, Carowinds (the Paramount themepark) and right at the SouthPark Mall. It is also not very hard to find from the major highways.
The SouthPark Mall is jaw-droppingly elegant. It is walking distance from the hotel. There is a Cheesecake Factory there, make it a point to eat dinner there, but expect a LONG wait. (Like any other Cheesecake Factory).
I can't say enough good things about this hotel.

If you are going to Charlotte, STAY HERE!!!
This hotel is suited for families, couples, business travel, budget or no budget, I recommend this hotel to EVERYONE!
