I needed to get a baby gift and have it mailed back east. Since she had registered at Baby Universe that is where I shopped. I had never shopped there before but am glad to say, my experience was problem free.
FINDING WHAT YOU NEED
There are four main ways to find what you need ~
1. The bar across the top with 4 choices ~

3. By searching the Departments with 18 options~
• Bathing

4. The Search that works by keyword.
These follow you as you shop, making it easy to switch from department to department.
SHOPPING
When you find a product you are interested in you can click on either the products name, picture or the see more button to get more details.
To purchase an item, you simply put in the quantity that want and click on the buy now button. You also have the option of adding the item to your gift registry or emailing the link, You can then continue shopping or head over to checkout.
If you are purchasing from the gift register you simply choose from the gifts the Mother-2-Be has chosen. You enter the quantity that you would like to buy and click the "buy now" button. The item is added to your shopping cart and a PURCHASED will appear next to the item after you check out so that two people don't buy the same item.
Once you are ready to checkout you need to give all the regular billing and mailing information. After picking a password, you will be able to have this information on file and save time checking out in the future.
After ordering, you will get a detailed confirmation email. You are able to track your purchase online.
SHIPPING
They have a flat $6.95 shipping fee for orders shipped within the US. My order was delivered 5 days after ordering.
It is an extra $3 for gift wrapping and they added a gift card with my own message at no charge.
You can break up your order to more than one address but there is a separate shipping charge for each address.

This was an easy to navigate site with a nice size selection to choose from. I like their gift registry as it makes it easy to make sure you are sending a gift the new Mother both wants and needs. I did find out later that my sister looked at the list and then purchased her gift from a different site, at a lower price.
Even though their prices were not the lowest, but their having the gift registry and flat shipping fee was nice.
All in all, I would recommend checking out Baby Universe especially if you can find a coupon and/or are placing a large order.
