Roller Coaster Dreadnought...

Pros:Very Solid Simulation!
Cons:Could be touched though in some areas..
The Bottom Line: Good game for people who like Simulations. If you are one of those people, grab this game then. You'll like it.
This game in my opinion is a very good simulation which has it's high point and it also does have its downfalls.
While this game may keep you entertained for a good long while, once you have a achieved the park that you wanted then there isn't much more to do than start over and build another theme park. It's basically a repititious thing.
The graphics are pretty good. I've seen better though. This is a tile game where you build your park by tiles which can take a good amount of time depending on the size of the park that you will be building.
To cover things that I felt were left out. I feel that when it became nighttime, the park should have been able to light up because you can of course place lights in your park and this is just one of the many things which were left out of the game which should have been in there. There is also one very annoying thing about this game which I have sent emails about and it hasn't been addressed. There should be an overhead view allowed in the game because there have been too many times where I have dug holes for an underground rollercoaster and it came to be that I didn't dig deep enough and I could not dig anymore unless I also dug up around that existing hole so I could then see where it left off. This is annoying due to the fact that digging will eat up your funds quickly.
The music in the game is the same over and over again which tends to get a bit annoying after a while. Every theme park that I have ever been to has had a first-aid station and there is no trace of a player being able to build one of those in this game.
The music and sound effects are decent and are not by any means outstanding. This could be vastly improved as well as the graphics. It would be nice to see a true to life 3D Rollercoaster Tycoon Sim. Dolby Surround with EAX support would also be nice which this game does not have nor support. The playability of this game is the outstanding part of the whole thing. You can modify just about almost everything. You can even save rides that you have created to give to friends for their parks.
I found it relatively easy to play this game though. It is not a hard game by any means for a beginner. You can read just a minimal amount of the manual and jump right into the game with no problem. The Icons are very well places and are not small and impossible to make out. They are fairly large and easy to recognize. Navigating this game is basically a piece of cake and then some.
Building a theme park to your liking is very fun. You can even put your own designs into the works for most of the rides. You can also rename them all to your own liking. You can edit the way it looks, set prices and how many people can ride at a time and so on. This game gets rather technical, but at the same time does not increase in difficulty by any means...
This game is really fun and can keep you busy for hours on end. Rome wasn't built in a day and neither will your first park unless you really have your mind set on what you want and the park is kept relatively small. Remember, keeping your customers happy will bring you better park ratings and lots more money. Happy Constructing!!! =)
