I strongly advise you to write an epinion of their service. Few people are likely to read your comment on my review, however, if you print your story, people will read it.

Not only do Shutterfly provide digital services, but they also provide mailers and develop your film to negatives. Then they scan the negatives, send them back to you and post the scans on line for you to order prints. Sounds great? I thought so and sent off three rolls of film.
The promised that they are posted 24 hours after they received them. I waited almost two weeks for the first two and the third.... well I'm still waiting. Their customer service has not been helpful and I am having a hard time believing that it was lost in the mail. I have since discovered that two other people I know had similar experiences. I won't be using them again. At least I know that the local CVS won't lose my film.

Thanks for your comment. I too was confused on this point. Just so you know . . . Shutterfly is not the only company to do this - there are many others that maybe I will get around to reviewing one day.
Let me know how the digital camera purchase works out. I just got one and absolutely love it!

I've been thinking about getting a digital camera, but one of the main drawbacks was that I wasn't sure how I would get "real" prints if I wanted them (and I didn't want to go through the hassle of buying a new printer, fancy paper, etc.). This seems like an easy, convenient way to get prints. Thanks for solving one of my digital-camera-related dilemmas!
