The Palace is the place to be

Written: Mar 02 '01
Pros:Beautiful themed casino, nice non-smoking area, good location on Boardwalk
Cons:Never know what type of room you will get and crowded
The Bottom Line: I really like Caesar's, it has something for everyone and the people that work the floor are quick to respond.

Caesar's Palace is a great place to stay, eat, and lose your money. Granted it is usually very crowded, especially on weekends and holidays, but there is almost always a machine or table to play at. The staff is very friendly and courteous and usually quick to respond when your machine runs out of money or if you win big, there are always a few bad employees but not many.

The first time I stayed there we had a gorgeous room with a King size bed, mini refrigerator, a huge bathroom, a couch, and great decorations, all for the normal cost, granted it was the middle of the week. The next time we were down we got this little room down an almost mile long corridor, had no refrigerator, a small bathroom, and two double beds, but that was on a Friday night of a holiday weekend. The only good thing about that room was that once we made it to the elevator it took us right to the casino floor. The room was clean and nice enough but after what we got the first time this was disappointing, it was just like any other normal hotel room.

The location of Caesar's is great also. It's right on the boardwalk across from the mall and between Bally's and the Trump Tower. There are about five different restaurants inside Caesar's so whatever price range or type of food you are looking for you can get, of course it's usually cheaper to go across the boardwalk to the mall's food court!

The casino has a large variety of machines and tables, unfortunately there are no tables in the non-smoking section, but there are plenty of machines. If you get thirsty just flag down a waitress or stroll on over to the bar that is on the floor.

If you are not a big gambler there is a pool and you can get massages or go shopping. There is plenty in the Palace or nearby for you to do. Have fun and win big!
