Paint a Puzzle
Mar 22 '01
The Bottom Line What a great way to keep your kids busy and this craft is even usable once they are done.
This is a very simple craft your child can do.
Supplies:
Popsicle sticks
Paint (no watercolors)
Paintbrush
Tape
How To:
1. Line up however many popsicle sticks as you want, 10, 20 etc... Make sure they are all touching and even on the top and bottom.
2. Put a strip of tape across the top of the sticks and across the bottom of the sticks, this is going to hold them together while you paint them.
3. Now flip the sticks over. You need to paint on the no tape side.
4. Paint whatever you want. You can paint all the sticks the same color first to have a background and then once that dries paint a picture on top of that. Or you can just paint any kind of picture.
5. Next is the hardest part for children, they must wait for it to dry, probably a couple of hours.
6. Once dry, remove the tape, mix up the sticks and have the children try and put it back together in the correct order.
What fun!
