The Bottom Line IT'S FUN WHEN YOU ARE BORED BUT YOU REALLY DON'T WIN ANYTHING.

Treeloot is an online click to win game. The prizes are different amounts of money, and the winning process is explained below...
How it Works
You are given a picture of a tree, on which you are told to click and find where the prizes are hidden. After you click, a monkey appears to give you tips and hints. Be careful though, he gets nasty. There are bonus rounds, hints and extra prizes that are based on your interaction with the site.
Winning and Chances
There are several money prize amounts hidden in the tree. However, there are some problems with this 'money tree.' There is a grid over the tree, as if to create the illusion that there are a countable amount of clickable areas. But, if you look at the bottom of your browser as you move your pointer over the tree, you'll notice that there are hundreds and thousands of possible click areas! Not only that, but the white background surrounding the tree is also a clickable area.
Based on what I said above, the chances of winning are low. There are just too many possibilities. Your hype is raised though, when you get bonus 'banana bucks.' This entitles you to extra money, but is only redeemable if you win a prize from the tree.
There are also chances to win a stuffed monkey after a certain amount of clicks. It's all based on your arduous participation.
Sponsors
Oh dear. The monkey will often urge you to visit sponsors to increase your chances of winning (or increase Treeloot's earnings). Well, be prepared to be frustrated. I did what the monkey said, and clicked on a few banners. However, this monkey knows the difference between just clicking and 'visiting.' In order to win extra banana bucks, you must not only visit the sponsors, but you must spend time there and follow their links. Smart monkey.
Another problem lies in the sponsor selection. I wouldn't have such a problem with visiting their sponsors, if they had more of them! I keep having to 'visit' the same 3 site over and over. I even joined one of them, but that's not good enough for the monkey. There's only so much one can do!
Fun Factor
Well, the novelty of clicking randomly in a huge area fades quickly. It comes down to boredom. There's no thrill in playing this game, it's pretty much a time waster for me.
Does it Work?
Well, I haven't actually hit a cash amount in the tree yet, so I can't answer that. There is a hall of winning fame on the site, but it could have been fabricated. It's harsh, but you have to be a skeptic with these games.
Time and Effort
Wow. For the amount of time and clicking I've put in, I haven't won any 'real' money yet. I guess it's just a silly addictive game. I suppose it's harmless, but boy have I clicked. I deserve the 25,000 prize just for looking at that tree, and that monkey...oh the monkey.
Recommended For
People with a lot of free time! If you're with an Internet connection, and bored out of your mind, I suggest this site to you. It'll make the minutes fly by, and you might even win something! Don't take my word on that winning thing, though...
Not Recommended For
Anyone with no patience and a short temper. I'd hate to see you curse out a cartoon monkey. If you're looking for a fast prize, don't look here. There's no way of proving that there's even a cash prize in that tree!
Overall
The game isn't all too exciting, but it's a time filler. It's cute, maybe even clever, but easily aggravating. I didn't give this site a high rating, but I definitely suggest that you check it out. It's addictive. Nothing special, but addictive. Go ahead, there's nothing to lose. But hopefully something to win.
