The Bottom Line The bottom line is if you're looking for free stuff online, you'd do better looking in other places than this site!

I was excited when I found this site, after all it was the first free samples site that I found. With money being tight at my house, I thought that it would be great to be able to select a new sample every day. The fact that I could earn "Frequent Tryer Miles" for leaving feedback about these products was an added bonus.
These "Frequent Tryer Miles" can be earned by:
Visiting startsampling.com each day; Visiting certain manufacturer's websites; Referring friends; Providing feedback on samples that you try; Completing surveys on this site; and sending in UPC symbols and receipts for particular products.
While it is easy to earn points by visiting StartSampling.com and the other sites, as well as by referring your friends, it is very difficult to earn points in any other way.
Most of the time you will only find a few samples listed on the site, and rarely are any of them still available. This is because the samples are limited in number and what they do have available tends to go very fast! I have been a member of this program for several months now and just recently I was finally able to order 2 samples. Also since I have signed up there haven't been any surveys available so I haven't been able to earn any "Frequent Tryer Miles" in this way.
If you some how manage to save up enough "Frequent Tryer Miles" you can trade them in for startsampling t-shirts, caps, and mugs. There are also gift certificates for things like movies, CDs, and software, but oftentimes these things are already gone, especially the ones that require a very low number of miles.
Personally, I still check out StartSampling.com once in a while. I like free stuff but this site is basically a waste of time!
