Fossil makes great watches

Pros: great value and great styles that are offered for men and women
Cons: never take one near a lot of heat
The Bottom Line: If you are looking for a good quality watch without the hassle of spending a lot of money, buy a Fossil watch.

I have worked at a Fossil outlet store for over 2 years now (since June '01). I honestly believe the watches Fossil offer are the best for anyone to buy. I have 13 watches, and to date, I have had to replace the battery in ONE of them. Other than that, I have had absolutely NO problems with any of them. Yes, I have had people come into the store with a defective watch they had recently purchased (movement problem or dead battery), but it is a small percentage and Fossil gladly takes care of these situations as long as it is under warranty. Usually the people who come in that have a problem other than the movement or a dead battery have messed up the watch themselves by dropping it, taking a shower in it, etc. (trust me). I also noticed that some of the prices are inaccurate that are quoted in this site for Fossil watches. For example, a $65.00 watch is usually for sale at $39.99 in the outlet store that I work at. I could compare many more prices off the top of my head, but if you ever want to save a lot of money when buying a watch, go to a Fossil outlet store (not a retail store like Dilliard's or Pacific Sunwear). These outlet stores are spread out across the country, so the easiest way to find one near you is to go to www.fossil.com and click on the "store locator" under customer service. It will then tell you where each store is in each state. I hope I have better informed anyone out there who is reading this--thank you for your time. (I almost forgot to mention-never take a Fossil watch in the shower or in any place of abnormally high heat, it can loosen the water-resistant seal and water can leak inside the watch--which eventually ruins it)
