| caraudiofreak's Full Review: Stillwater Design 10" Subwoofer CompVR |
As i have heard these and have looked at them, they are not the worst subwoffers that i have ever saw. They don't have the best sounding bass, but they do have a punch to them that you can feel. I don't think that they have that 'natural' sound that most people are looking for. They are a little bit sloppy. They don't handle a good amount of power(which is kind of good for the people that are looking to get set up with a affordable stereo). But these didn't impress me that much. I was pleased with how they sounded but not over joyed. For 150(what i got one for) you can spend just as much on a decent pair and have better bass response. These subs you can't go very low either, I would never run them below 35-40hz. there DB level was not to impressive at the most, i would say they hit 90DB and thats not near loud enough for the stereo fanatics. Well these subs are not the worst things i have saw but no where near the best.
