In conclusion before you start writing a review, stop and think to yourself are you really prepared?

...I can't really add any more to what other reviewers have already commented on. This is one of the downsides to a self-publishing site -- no editors to follow behind us and clean up our messes.

Thanks for the review. I have found no better way to get better at writing these reviews than to keep on writing and reviewing.

(You should have seen the typos in my "grammar" review before I fixed them.)

Good points... (Reply to this comment)

You make some good points about review writing, now you may want to apply them to your own reviews. I've read three or four just now and found/stumbled over numerous little mistakes that would fall into your "ill literacy" category. They might have occurred due to rapidity of writing and publishing, but they were obvious. Tense disagreements, incorrect spelling, made up words here and there, inappropriate word usage.

Some mistakes are okay, but you might want to take more time in proofreading from now on if you're going to make the statements you do in this review.

PS
Sorry if I seem harsh, don't mean to be. Maybe it's the classes I've had today that are making me extra picky. I'll come back to your reviews and read some others ones. Keep on keepin' on, Epinions can be barrels of fun.

I agree with the reviewer who mentioned the errors. Yes, you do have several errors! But your info was very helpful to someone just starting out giving reviews. I think we all have errors now and then, but when you are educating others about the importance of grammar and spelling, your material should be very very free of errors.

Since this is an editorial, you can't do anything about this now, but your epinion has quite a few typos and grammatical errors. This is why I rated it as "Helpful". You have some excellent information here, but if you are attempting to help people with their writing, then the piece needs to be exemplary. You note this fact yourself in the beginning of the epinion.

One of the things that I do when I'm writing is write the epinion, leave it in draft form and then go away to do something else. Then I come back and read it over carefully, to see what I missed, such as spelling errors etc., so that I might fix them before publishing. I find that this helps quite a bit.

Cheers,
