Some old some newMar 23 '01 Write an essay on this topic. The Bottom Line My favorites in my collection! This is going to be a quick review since my ISP has been acting up lately. 1.Casablanca Who could forget Humphrey Bogart? 2.Wizard of OZ This was the movie that I antipated when I was a child every Easter.I love Judy Garland in this movie amoung her many others. 3.Dances with Wolves Kevin Costner was great in here.A movie of the Native American Indians, thier struggle, loss and life. 4.Scarface Although I know this is a very violent and drug ridden movie, it depicted a time and era between the US and Cuba immigrants.Al Pacino, Michelle Pfieffer. 5.Dirty Harry Need I say more, Clint Eastwood. 6.Casino Awesome movie about the mob and how they ran things in Vegas. Robert De Niro, Sharon Stone, Joe Pesci. 7.Not without my daughther Great movie based on a real life story of a woman who was married to an Iranian who tricks her to leave the US. Then will not let her leave with her daughter a country that believes no woman has any rights. Sally Field, no one could have played this part any better! 8.It's a wonderful life Come on now, this is a great movie. Something me and my family look forward to ever Christmas. 9.The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly Another Clint Eastwood great Western. 10.Braveheart Mel Gibson, who plays a Scottish, who doesn't want to be a fighter, but once his dear wife is murdered he seeks revenge. Then to find out that its one of his closest friend that betrays him and his fellowmen. Now I know that alot of these movies go back a bit, but thats when most movies were actually filmed and not created with a computer. I chose what I did because these are the movies that touched my heart or were some of those that can never be re-created. Although I know that there have been some that have tried to come close. Thanks for reading. |
