As of this writing (Oct. 2003) I recommend them strongly for ordering photographic supplies. These guys are fast, efficient, helpful and knowledgeable when one does need to speak with a human. Otherwise their web interface (www.bhphotovideo.com) is secure and easy to use, with a clean, uncluttered look and logical organizational style. Their ordering engine and shopping cart is streamlined and fast, especially on broadband. Even on my home dial-up connection, I have placed orders smoothly. They have always shipped to me in a timely manner, with the items often arriving before the end of the time advertised.

I cannot rate B&H for their warranty service, returns or handling of complaints, because in my orders from them I haven't had any of those occasions arise. That's a good thing!
