The Ten Best movies in my opinionMar 25 '01 Write an essay on this topic.The Bottom Line These movies you can watch over and over and still enjoy it. The kind of movies that I recommend are ones you can watch over and not get sick of. Most of the movie categories that I rent are watch from are comedy, Action, Drama, Sci-Fi, and mystery. The comedy movies that I like are the ones that you can just watch over and over again and it will just make you crack up. The action movies that I like are the intense ones that are explosive. I like them far fetched, but not to far fetched. The drama movies that I like are mostly about war with a little bit of action in it. The Sci-Fi movies that I like are mosly ones that take place in the future and have nonstop action. The mystery movies that I like are the one that make you guess what's going to happen throughout the movie. Those are the type of movies that I would reccommend. Here are my opinions. TOP TEN 10. Stirror of echos. This movie is definately marked in the mystery category. Kevin Bacon plays a good part in this movie. The story line was excellent too. Kevin Bacon and his wife go to a party at their friends house, and suddenly they talk about hypmotism. Kevon Bacon gets hypmotised and gets a door opened inside his head. This movie definately had me guessing throuhout the whole movie. If you like movies that are pretty freaky that has mystery to it, then this is your movie. 9. Hollow Man. The reason I didn't rate this in the top five is because I expected it to be a little better. It was still really good though. Kevon Bacon and Elisebeth Shue star in this Sci-Fi thriller. Kevin Bacon plays a genuis scientist who has the ability to turn aniimals invisible. Elisebeth shue plays his ex-girlfriend who is also his co-worker. Kevin Bacon desides he wants to try to turn himself invisible for three daty by operation. When he finds out they cant turn him visible he starts going totally crazy and starts stalking people. This movie didn't make me guess much, but it was freaky and action packed. 8. Austin Powers 2: The spy who shagged me. Mike Myers and Heather Graham star in this hillurious comedy. Mike Myers plays Austin Powers, a top secret agent. Heather Graham plays Felicity Shaggwell, Austin's partner. This movie was for sure better than the first one. Dr. Evil comes back from being frozen for thirty years and creates a time machine that can go to any year. Dr. Evils mission is to steal Austin Power's Mojo so he can kill him. I have no idea how that would help, but it's just a movie. Austin go's back to the 60's to defeat Dr. Evil and get his mojo back. This movie is definately a crack up. 7. Saving Private Ryan. Tom hanks, Matt Damon, and Tom Sizemore star in this war\drama movie. Tom Hanks plays a U.S general that leads seven men to save one man ( Matt Damon ) in the middle of world war II. A mother get's a message that two of her sons was killed in the war but one of her sons have not been found yet. Tom Hanks takes seven men to save his life and get him out of the war. This movie was definately popular when it came out to theaters. If your offended by violence then this is probably not your movie. But if you don't mind realistic violence then you'll love this movie. 6. Varsity Blues. James Van Der Beek, John Voight, and Paul walker starr in this teen flick. Jon Voight plays a rigid football coach that is goin for his 23rd champion ship victory. Paul Walker plays an excellent football quarterback. James Van Der Beek plays a second string quarterback who never gets to play in the game. When the star quarterback ( Paul Walker ) is injured his football coach ( Jon Voight ) expects his second string quarterback ( James Van Der Beek ) to lead the team to victory. This movie is probably the best teen flick that I have seen yet. 5. Three Kings. I don't think this movie was that popular when it came to theaters so you might not notice it. George clooney, Mark Wahlberg, Ice Cube and Spike Jonze play for U.S soldiers after the gulf war. They go off to a desert in Iraqi to find billions of dollars in gold that was stolen during the gulf war. This movie was action packed and funny at the same time. I would rank this as my favorite war movie. 4. Independence Day. Will Smith, Bill Pullman, and Jeff Goldblum stars in this Sci-FI thriller. Aliens come and destroy cities likeashington DC and New York. The survivers gather up and fight the mother ship before it destroys the planet. I saw this movie in theaters, I liked it a little more when it first came out, but it's still a really good one. 3. The Matrix. Keanu Reeves, Lawrence Fishburn, and Carie Anne Moss star in this great movie. Keanu Reeves plays a business man working for a software company. When a lady ( Carie Anne Moss ) meets up with Neo ( Reeves ) she tells him the Matrix is after him. Neo meets up with some guy named Morphious.( Laurence Fishburn ) Neo and Morphious must fight to free humankind. This movie has got to be the most creative and best Sci-Fi movie ever. 2. Dumb and Dumber. Jim Carey, Jeff Daniels and Lauren Holly star in this funny movie. A pretend limo driver ( Carey ) drives Mary ( Holly ) to the airport he falls in love with her the first time he sees her. Mary leaves her briefcase at the airport. Loydde ( Cary ) and Hary ( Daniels ) take a long road trip to Aspen so they can return the briefcase. The first time I saw this I thout it was so stupid, but it turned out to be one of my favorite movies. 1. A night at the roxbury. Will Ferrell, Chris Kattan, and Molly Shannon star in this hillurius comedy. Steve ( Ferrell ) and Doug ( Kattan ) are two club hoppers with one dream. That is to get into the best night club in town, The Roxbury. They make plans to start the coolest night club in town until Steve is forced to merry Emily,( Shannon ) they might never be able to start their own club. This movie is the most hillurios movie on this planet. I you like movies that make you laugh every second of the movie you'll love this one IF YOU LIKE ANY OF THE CATEGORIES THAT I LISTED, THEN I'LL DEFINATELY RECOMMEND THOSE ONES TO YOU!  |
