Over the past 3 years I have been using Homestead.com to create my families auction companies website. In those years, I have seen dramatic progress taken by the makers of the website to make it the best possible! The webmasters have taken the site from being slow and unpredictable to being faster with tons of options that will help everyone from the novice to the expert make a wonderful website.
Homestead.com offers a free website for people who are interested in making personal websites for vacations, weddings, reunions, and family. If you are looking for a business website, there is a low yearly charge. The options all great, helping to create a business website that will meet even the pickiest bosses requirements!
The site is very well maintained, doing updated several times per year and it seems to be as up to date as websites offering homepages can get! And even though maintaining the website is important, it can be a con. Every few months, they take the website down for about 2 hours out of a day, usually a Sunday (early in the morning). It does not allow for updates to be done to personal webpages, even though your viewers are still able to view the pages.
I would highly recommend users that have taken a look at Homestead.com in the past to go in and take a new look. Most likely, you will enjoy what you see and become a user!
