I have mixed feelings about my Cabo MP3 player, first of all your liking of this really depends on your opinions on MP3 players vs. CD players, etc. I'll base this opinion on the premonition that you are interested in an MP3 player, if you are loyal to CD's, I applaud you....you won't get anything from this.

There are several great things about the MP3 player, first and foremost it has 64 MB. Considering the average song is between 3.5 to 5 megabytes, this should hold a decent amount of music. Probably a little less than a CD, figure 65 minutes or so. The songs are stored on cards, on which the content can easily be edited. It's also very easy to use. If you have beginner's knowledge on computers and audio systems, you should be fine. It has a microphone, which is very useful and effective. Don't go taping people who don't know they're being recorded! I think it's illegal. =) The EQ can change.....but it is limited as you can edited musical genre, and a preset will be aplied. You cannot individually adjust bass/treble levels. The size is very acceptable, and it doesn't weigh too much.

Despite the overwhelming benefits, it is my duty to tell you about the problems. They are mainly software problems on the computer, or on the player. Occassionally the name of the song won't be printed (even of the ID3 tag on the song is correctly installed....if you don't know what that means, don't worry). The software on the computer freezes occasionally, or doesn't recognize the hardware. This can be fixed after a few tries though. It brings frustration.
