UPDATE
I sent them a game but they didn't recieve it after 7 days so I called them. The hold times were just literally 4 rings. They fixed the lost game no questions asked which i thought would be weird. Pleasant Experience so far.
Why I chose Gamefly.com
The blockbuster in my area does not have very many games and Hollywood video is too much of a commute. I also like to rent games and keep them for awhile. Renting a game at blockbuster can cost $5 and that can be expensive when the game is a dud. I read up on other review services, including Red Octane but people said they rarly had games in stock. I never tried numbthumbs.com because they seemed new and they didn't have a toll-free(1-800) phone number.

You have a GameQ which is a list of games you want. You sort the games on which you want the most. They send you the available game that you want the most on your GameQ once they recieve a game you rented out.
If you rent the game and really enjoy it, you can press the Keep it button which charges your credit card for the prepaid price and they will send you the original packaging and intruction manual of the game. Now you can keep the game
and they send you the next game on your gameQ
You can buy preplayed games, very cheap.
Game Selection and Availability
The game selection is great! As soon as a new game comes out they have it. Also you put yourself on a waiting list for a game that hasn't come out yet.
Game availability is nothing to be worried about. The game I wanted the most(you arrange the games you want in order) was on a "short wait." I thought to myself, oh man, I just wasted $21.95. However the next two games were in stock. As soon I recieved the games I sent them back the next day and the top game I wanted was in stock. Its on its way here. I thought, thank goodness there short wait is really a short wait!
Shipping & Delivery time & Game Condition
Gamefly usually processes the game and sends it out if you requested the game in the morning. Since I live on the East Coast, they are one the west, it takes 3 days for it to come here. Somebody told me that Netflix has an east coast distribution center and If they built a distribution center in the East Coast it would be less shipping time. I sent the game back when I recieved it, and it took 3 days to reach there and today(the 3rd day) they sent the games on my GameQ. Sadly since they are not open on Weekends(Grrrr!) I could have my game a day earlier.
Shipping is great. First, the game is put in soft cloth sleeve then in a cardboard sleeve. The envelope they send you the game in, contains another with free postage if you live in the United States. So you don't have to pay for shipping.
The game condition was much better than my blockbuster. I could not find any scratch marks, nor did I get any Dirty Disc Errors, commonly found on the Xbox.
Recomendation: Defintly, shipping times may not be great if you live in the East Coast the game selection and availability really make up for it.
