Pros: A very sturdy carseat. Deep seat. Recline feature.
Cons: Doesn't make a good carrier. Handle and canopy can be hard to deal with.
The Bottom Line: This is a good, sturdy car seat.I never worried about my baby's safety. It doesn't make a good carrier (heavy), but I wasn't in the market for a carrier.

I don't remember why it was we decided on this particular seat. We used it with a base in each of our cars for 13 months. It was kind of a tight squeeze in my Tempo, but it still fit. We had no problem getting into either vehicle (the other is a Jeep Cherokee) but did have to use a pool noodle to balance it out properly. I liked the recline feature. I had no problem attaching it to a Snap-n-Go stroller. Attaching it to a shopping cart was another story. Everytime I tried to unhook it, I pinched my thumb in the "safety" clip. Also, I couldn't see over it. (Not the seat's fault I'm short!) I quit using it in the shopping cart for that reason and because putting a carseat on the shopping cart makes it top-heavy and increases the chance of the cart flipping over. (The AAP recommends against using any carseat in a shopping cart.) Also, I found the shade canopy to be flimsy, but you aren't supposed to have it up in the car anyway, so that wasn't a big deal. The handle-release buttons are hard to use if you have small hands. Since I didn't use the carseat as a carrier -- I found it easier just to take baby out and carry her -- that wasn't really an issue for me.
