If you don't like Papa John's pizza, being able to order online is probably not going to make much of a difference to you--but if you do, the online service makes fast, cheesy pizza even more convenient and yummy.
Benefits:
- It's a free service - no online order fees, which may seem like normal, only it rarely is these days.
- The Deals - The online deals are pretty much the same as the Sunday circulation deals--except BETTER! Usually the online deal adds an extra topping to my pizza, or chops a dollar off the newspaper price. They basically include every deal your local pizza store is willing to offer. Plus, since all of the deals are link-ified on the website, there's no need to bring the coupon down to the store. This is a big deal for me, because the owners of my local franchise can be quite strict and stingy when it comes to taking coupons.
- The order - It's pretty quick and painless to make your order even if you want to make a billion substitutions--or make your pizza half this, and half that. There are listings of all the toppings available, and there's the option to split your toppings into two different half-toppings.
- No pre-payment. As always, it's just an order. You don't pay for the pizza until the pizza is in your hands.
Shortcomings - Well, if you like talking to your pizza maker and special ordering down to the tee, this isn't COMPLETELY customized, so you'll still probably have to call them up. They could also use a little more warning when you've reached the point-of-no-return for ordering, but it's really no big deal since you're not paying for anything until you get the pizza, and until they make it, you can always call and get it changed/cancelled.
