Opinion Summary
A much better 9-3--but you pay for it
by mkaresh | Oct 23 '03
Pros: Handling, acceleration, front seat comfort, still unique even in more mainstream form
Cons: Seats could use more lateral support, rear seat tight, high cowl

Bruce, you're always leaving such excellent comments. How about some reviews?

I prefer the Aero for its better bolstered seats. But if I recall correctly the Aero's seats don't fit you so well, so this won't be an advantage for everyone.

linears vs aero (Reply to this comment)

The car definitely makes more sense as a Linear, especially with incentives. I have an '03 linear launch, which was available with the sport pkg and shares the same suspension as the aero for a lot less money. It's even said to be a little quicker up to 60mph due to the smaller turbo spooling up faster.

Anyone who wants an affordable 9-3 with sharper handling than a stock linear can always just have the sport springs added for a reasonable price. Find some Ebay 17 or 18" wheels and sell your takeoffs and you dont' have that much more in it.
