In my household, we have 4 different cellular providers. Some of which you may read about in several other of my opinions. However, without a doubt, Verizon Wireless has the best combination of service, reliability, and affordability. For example, I travel frequently between school and my home in South Carolina. As many of you may know, South Carolina has a few populated areas surrounded by vast expanses of nothingness. Despite this fact, my coverage remains seamless from point to point.
In addition to the reliability, my plan offers much of the East Coast, with 200 minutes, free long distance, and a host of calling features for only $29.99. Compared to many competitors, this is a treat! Also, there are no deceiving and restrictive policies about times you can call and how many minutes you have for a particular call. It is plain and simple: 200 minutes, and that is it.
Finally, when it comes to customer service, they have their act together. I have had several occasions where I had to have a call refunded because it was incorrectly labeled as roaming when it really was not. While it is a hassle to call to fix such errors, this is a common problem as cell towers can be selective. This is not just a Verizon problem, it just comes with the cellular phone territory. When I do call with such problems, I wait less than 2 minutes in most cases and there are no arguments about charges. They kindly offer a credit on my next bill.
Take my word for it, the rest of my family is jealous of the simplicity, affordabililty, and flexibility of my calling plan. As far as cellular plans go, this one is a winner.
