I have been using TaxCut for 4 years now and am very satisfied.

I can import data from the previous year and it offers step-by-step instructions for all income and deductions.

One downside is that it is very difficult to find specific tax information and forms when needed. If you need the information when the program asks for it, it is not a problem. If you need to find the information at a later time, it is very difficult to navigate the program.

One upside is that they offer rebates for state software and electronic filing. They did offer unlimited state downloads for free in previous years, which was great for us because we file in two different states. Now they only offer one state download and you have to pay for it up front and use the rebate form for reimbursement.
