As strange as it might sound, one of my favorite cleaning agents is bleach. Of course, I can't clean every surface in my kitchen and bathroom with pure bleach, it would be a little too overwhelming. However, I can use the next best thing, Clorox Clean-Up.
~*~Cost~*~
I usually pay $2.97 for my 32 FL OZ bottle of Clorox Clean-Up. This product can be found almost anywhere Clorox products are sold, varying in price.
~*~Some Details~*~
Clorox Clean-Up is a disinfecting cleanser that contains all of the power of bleach without that harsh bleach smell. It can be used on a variety of surfaces including kitchen counters and sinks, tubs, fiberglass, floors, appliances and tile. Clorox warns that continued use on plastic laminates, metal and porcelain may cause some discoloration.
Clorox Clean-Up kills 99.9% of bacteria in a matter of seconds. It's main active ingredient is Sodium Hypochlorite. It also removes the toughest stains and grease while leaving a fresh clean scent. To disinfect an area, simply spray and leave for 30 seconds then wipe.
Clorox Clean-Up comes in an easy to use spray bottle and refills are also available. As with any bleach product, it is always wise to use in a well ventilated area. And of course, keep out of the reach of children.
~*~My Experience~*~
I know I must spend a small fortune on cleaning supplies. My husband accuses me of being obsessive compulsive about cleaning and disinfecting. I am a very freaky about germs, and I am well known in my family for scrubbing and cleansing. I can always be found with an antibacterial hand gel! Clorox Clean-Up is my ultimate cleaning product. I soak and cleanse my kitchen counters every morning and then every evening after dinner time. I also cleanse them anytime there is a stain, or if a mess has been made in between. I also use it when I'm cooking meats to clean up anywhere the meat has touched.
I also count on Clorox Clean-Up in my bathrooms. I use it in my sinks and tubs and the toilets. It does an amazing job at removing tough stains and I know without a doubt that it is disinfecting. It does wonderfully at removing those tough rings that can accumulate in the tub. With two little girls that love to get messy, those rings are a constant in our home!
I love the scent of Clorox Clean-Up. It has a very fresh scent, but, that clean smell of bleach is still there. I like that it isn't nearly as overwhelming as the smell of bleach, but, I'm still getting that same cleaning power. I also like that I can use it throughout the home on many different surfaces.
