Pros:Free email. You can choose from various domains.
Cons:No POP mail facility (with free accounts).
Lot of annoying pop-up advertisements.

The Bottom Line: Do not go for mail.com account, because the servers are too slow and POP facility is not available compared to yahoo.com
I have been using mail.com account for the past 18 months. I chose this service because it had a selection of domain names to choose from.
But the service seems to slow down recently, to an extent that, if I send a mail from my other email accounts, to my mail.com account, it takes around five to six hours.
When I contacted the customer service, they replied that they knew this problem and the service technicians are looking into it. But the problem has not been resolved for one week.
Now, new problems noticed are
a) Ping command shows loss of 75%
b) Tracert shows "Destination net not reachable" for www.mail.com
