About Me: Everything Grows With Love!

The Magic of Orange for cleaning your surfaces.

Written: Nov 02 '03
Pros:Cleans and shines without any harmful chemicals
Cons:None so far
The Bottom Line: No rubber gloves are needed when cleaning with this foaming paste cleanser. There's no caustic chemical smells, only the fragrance of orange will enhance your home.

I had never heard of this Orange Glo Power Paste Foaming Cleanser, until the day I went over to my daughter's house. Her fiancee Mike, was cleaning her hubcaps on her car, which was up for sale. I asked him what he was using to clean the hubcaps and he showed me the Orange Glo Power Paste Foaming Cleanser. He also told me that he cleaned up the inside of his boat with it before he put it away for the winter. He also said that it can be used on many things inside and outside of the house. I asked him where he bought it and he said that his Mom gave it to him and that he would find out where she bought it and let me know.

In the meantime while I was shopping in our Bed Bath&Beyond a few weeks ago I did come across an isle of cleaners. And there it was sitting on the shelf, the same Orange Cleaner that Mike was using on the hubcaps. After reading the box I saw that it was a cleaner that could be used for cleaning many stains and surfaces either inside the home or outside the home. I finally purchased it for $6.99.

FEATURES:
It comes in a 14oz. plastic tub. It's a thick orange paste cleaner that has a very nice orange fragrance. When a little water is mixed into the paste with the sponge it makes a foamy paste, which then can be applied to any surface that needs cleaning.

It's a mild abrasive paste that doesn't contain any harmful chemicals. There's no need to wear a mask or rubber gloves while using the paste. Because it's made of Orange Oil and Silica flour it's very mild on my hands.

It also comes with a 4 inch thick yellow sponge. The sides of the sponge is slightly indented on both sides, this enables you to be able to grip the sponge, while cleaning any surface.

The bottom of the sponge has a slightly rough surface, which helps to clean surfaces.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
By adding a little water into the paste in the tub and rubbing the sponge into the paste, it will become very foamy. Then the foam can be dabbed on to any surface with the sponge. Depending on how bad the stain is on the surface your cleaning you may have to leave it on for 20 or 30 minutes. Then scrub the surface with the rough side of the sponge. Rinse the surface off with a damp towel or a sponge thoroughly, and your done. For tough stains you may have to repeat the application.

HOW IT CLEANED MY OVEN:
The first thing I did clean with the Orange Glo Foaming Paste was my oven door and the inside of my oven. I started with the oven door first. Dabbed the foamy paste all over the inside window and the door. Waited 10 minutes, and then I went over the oven door with the rough side of the sponge. I then wiped the door down with a wet towel and dried it with paper towels. I was pleasantly surprised to see how well the the Orange Glo foaming paste cleaned my whole oven door. Not only did it clean it, but it left a shine that I hadn't seen in a long time. I cleaned the inside of my oven with the foaming paste also, which by the way came out clean and shiny also.

When I used aerosol cleaners before to clean the oven, they cleaned it pretty good but it never left a shine on the inside of my oven door like the shine I get from the Orange Glo foaming paste. Each time that I used a spray cleaner on my oven, I always had to clean the floor around my stove. While spraying the cleaner on the inside of my oven door, some of the airborne particles from the spray always managed to end up on my floor. No mess here any more since I've used the Orange Glo Foaming paste.

I was hooked on this Orange Glo Foaming Paste cleanser now. Even though It was a little more work cleaning my oven with the paste cleaner, it was well worth it. I didn't have to arm myself with rubber gloves or have to inhale any caustic chemicals.

Orange Glo Foaming Paste can be used on many surfaces.
Stoves
Copper
Brass
Stainless Steel
Aluminum
Chrome
Outdoor furniture
Bathroom surfaces and much more

It will remove many kinds of stains.
Mineral deposits
Surface rust
Tarnish
Grease
Scuff marks
Caked on foods and more

Cleaning Brass: I have a brick fireplace in my living room. I have Brass Andirons in front of my fireplace screen that can become very dirty and tarnished if not cleaned often. I used the Orange Glo Foaming Paste to clean them, and now they look wonderful and brand new looking again.

Cleaning Copper: I have 2 frying pans with copper bottoms. I've found that by using the Orange Glo Foaming Paste on the bottoms, I don't get any scratching that I used to get when I used to use Copper Glo Cleanser. No scratching and my copper bottoms are nice and shiny again.

Cleaning my summer cooler: I have a Coleman cooler that I carry in my car during the hot weather months to keep my perishable food in after shopping in the super market. Now being the cooler weather is here, I don't need the cooler any more this year. Before I put the cooler away, I thoroughly washed it out with the Orange Glo foamy paste, inside and outside and waited about 5 minutes. Then I took the garden hose and rinsed it out good. I let it dry and put it away for the winter.

CAUTIONS STATED ON THE TUB:
Like any household cleaners, the Orange Glo Power Paste Foaming Cleanser should be kept up and away from children. The Paste contains Orange Oil and Silica flour and could cause eye irritation if gotten into the eyes of children.

NOTE:
The Orange Glo Foaming Paste Cleaner is a mild abrasive. To avoid any scratching on aluminum, appliances, enamel or other polished surfaces you should always rub the foaming paste in gently when cleaning. It may be best to test the surface first before applying the paste cleaner.

STORING:
When I'm finished using the Orange Glo Power Paste Foaming Cleanser, I always make sure that there isn't any excess water or foam left in the tub, and then I secure the lid carefully. I also make sure that the sponge has been thoroughly washed out and dried. The sponge should never be stored in the tub. I kept the box that the Orange Glo Power Paste Foaming Cleanser came in and I use the box to store the tub and sponge in after I'm done using it.

If you don't like using cleaners with toxic harsh chemicals, and wearing rubber gloves to clean up greasy, dirty grime and stubborn stained surfaces, give the Orange Glo Power Paste Foaming Cleanser a try, I do recommend it. It's mild enough to be used on many surfaces both inside and outside of your home. And if your like me and like the smell of a orange fragrance in your house, then try the Orange Glo Power Paste Foaming Cleanser, you won't be disappointed.

Thanks for reading!!
