| NYCKINI's Full Review: Mpio FL100 (128MB) MP3 Player |
I was looking for something small enough to put in my pocket for my commute. When I started looking for a player, I didnt realize that there were so many brands to choose from. I took a chance with the MPIO FL100 because of its style and ability to expand its memory. I have now owned this product for 28 days and am in the process of returning it because is defective. For whatever reason, the player started playing songs as if they were digitally altered. Any song that had a high pitch was inaudible. I called tech support, though they were very nice, they could not help. The radio wasn't clear all the time. If you fnd a place with good reception and stay there, then the radio might work perfectly, otherwise there was static. The battery life was not what was advertised. It lasted about 8 hours max. It was strange but an hour after I put a brand new battery in, it would go to 2 bars of battery life. I'm not sure if it was because this thing was defective. The software was very simple to use. It is really easy to upgrade the firmware and format the drive, which I did atleast 10 times today to no avail. When the player functioned properly, it was a handy gadget. I really am disappointed that this didnt work for me.
