Excel - Its the Little Things That Count

Written: Mar 05 '01
Pros:Easy to Use
Cons:High cost of Software
The Bottom Line: For its ease of use, you can't beat Microsoft Excel.

Microsoft has improved the ease of use of its 2000 version of MS Excel. It is all the minor improvements added together that make this version by far the easiest to use and learn.

Features like sorting data by many different categories, inserting text tabs in individual cells, copying and pasting large amounts of data and any number of other improvements, make this program and all around excellent choice for personal or small office home use (SOHO).

Some features not often used that should be are its ability to make nice presentation style graphs, using the different page tabs located at the bottom of the program, coloring individual cells to make items stand out, and also using the print preview function and then adjusting the page setup (margins, text size etc.) as needed.

For my money I highly recommend this program.
