Pros: Good quality graphics,and no lighting problems.
Cons: Why can't the Gamecube controller be used with Zelda Four Swords?
The Bottom Line: Buy the Game boy Player,it is so much more than the Gameboy Advance.

I believe it was in July,03 I bought The Gameboy Player at Electronics Boutique Gameworld. Ever since then I quit using my Gameboy Advance.Good bye to needing so much light, to view the miniature screen of the Gameboy Advance.Though the GBA. was never a really bad system, there should have been better lighting capability. Many people would agree with me, I firmly believe.(Look below more than three paragraphs)
Even with the power of the attachable Floodlight, it still could use a little help. The Pelican light, needed even more help.Not only is there no worry, for light but the graphics look better on T.V as well.Even more brilliant is that both, old and new can be played on this awesome accessory. Gameboy original, you know the green gray and black colors no problem. Gameboy Color nope no complaints here.For the old style Gameboy games some new colors might even appear:). While playing Final Fantasy Legend 2 I actually saw orange, and blue colors. However there is something, that should be known about the older style of games. The screen will be let's say 15 to 25 percent smaller.
Twenty frames to choose from, all different colors. Frames like camouflage, checkerboard,flowers,space with both planets and stars others just plain one color.Plus even more designs for frames. Pick a normal sized screen or full. Well neither will encompass all the screen. Due in fact to the frames ,and don't try without frames, because that is not an option.A timer can be set for a total of 60 minutes.Good for reminding to stop after too many hours of playtime. Too use these options press the z button, on your Gamecube controller.Graphics nothing short of awesome. Maybe even better than Playstation one graphics. Not bad for a handheld agree?
Nintendo made a wise decision to bring about the Game Boy Player. One more feature I forgot. The swap a pack. Change a gamepak in the middle of a game, without turning GBP. off.Don't forget to insert the startup disk,before playing. This disk must always be in use, for it(GBP.) to work.Make sure the screws connecting the player to The Gamecube are tight.Enough extra cash on hand, love Gameboy Advance games.Own a Gamecube ,or going to own one soon. Do yourself the favor, of buying a Gameboy Player.My G.B.Player was fifty dollars. However if you check the right sight such as Ebay.com or amazon. You just might get lucky and find one even cheaper.
So concludes my review of the new addition to the G.C. and GBA. games.
