Proper care and maintenance can extend the life of any grill. It doesn't have to be hard or even time consuming if you just keep up with it.

Seems the plethora of epinions nowadays revolves around how to make money or get more hits. It is always enjoyable to have someone dispense practical and useful advice that I can readily use. Kudos on a well-written, practical epinion.

1. Always remove the ashes from your grill- yeah this is a no brainer but you would be surprised how many people will simply throw more charcoal on top of old ashes. By removing the ashes you increase the air flow beneath your coals and also you are not heating and sending old possibly rancid flavor from drippings onto the food you are preparing.

Last year's ashes make for better flavor... really, they do! But, you're probably right about the air flow thing, and maybe that outweighs the better flavor.

Greetings- I am truly glad you have found my review helpful. Personally I always try to aim at how to make anything easier or less expensive since I am on a budget, but I must admit often I find my most precious commodity is time. If in spending the time to read my review you have some ideas to extend the life of your grill, thus saving some money, or helped you to make it easier, then I measure my time as well spent.

Dave :-)~~

This is the truly informative review. I really appreciate for your sharing the idea.

Probably, I should print this out, and tape it on the grill, so that I don't forget next time.

Thanks a lot.
