Best Action Movies Ever!!!

The Bottom Line Check out these movies you are sure to enjoy them. ALL of these movies I would say are appropriate for ages 10 and up!
These are my selections of best action movies ever.
You are welcome to disagree with any or all of them afterall it is just my opinion.
These movies are in no particular order.
1) "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid"
Great western featuring two of the greatest actors in history, Robert Redford, and Paul Newman. Actually a true story, based on a true story, this film is by far my favorite Western of all time, and ends up on the ten best action movies. This movie invented the old jump of the CLiff into water to escape which has now been seen in many other movies, and tv shows since. The best line is When Sundance tells Butch he can't swim, right before jumping into the water, and Butch says "swim, you will probably die from the fall!"
2) "Star Wars"(whole trilogy)This is the trilogy that defined my childhood, revolutionary special effects, breakthrough performances by Harrison Ford, and others. This is the movie that made Harrison FOrd capable of becoming The huge star in Hollywood that he became later with the Indiana Jones movies.
Favorite Line: Leia to luke when he is rescuing her in Star Wars "Aren't you a little short to be a storm trooper?"
3) "Indiana Jones" (Trilogy)
Cementing Harrison ford as the greatest draw in hollywood history the Indiana Jones movies take adventure to new heights and were the other great trilogy from my childhood. Temple of doom had great action, but was pretty dark, I remember when I first saw it, it was pretty scary. Last Crusade was a little more mainstream, especially with Sean COnnery showing up as Indy's Dad. Great Movies, George Lucas is a Genius.
4)"Supercop" (And Most Jackie Chan Movies)This was the first Jackie Chan movie I ever saw, and I loved it, I have seen many since, but this one also featured Michelle Yeoh from Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, and she was also incredible. THere are so many other Jackie Chan movies out there, but if you have never seen one before I would suggest you start with Supercop it has a little bit of everything.
5)"Charlies Angels" I thought it would be nice to put a movie in here that was a little more recent than the others. I saw "Charlies Angles" in the Theater when it came out, and it was the first movie in a long time that was just a joy to watch, it had everything, great fight scenes, a lot of humor, and of course a great cast featuring Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz, and Lucy Liu. They all did a great job, and made this movie great. Funny performances by Bill Murray and Tom Green as well.Also to note, The Angels never use guns in the movie which was really nice to see in todays over violent movies.
