That's correct. It is either a 2 WD or 4 WD in the US. It would be nice to be able to switch- I realize that is a plus, but that option isn't available in the U.S. Thanks for reading..jo

But if I understand your title correctly, does this mean you're born to be wild?

Good info, writing quality could be better (Reply to this comment)

For instance, what is "it" in the following section:
"It is incredibly powerful but comfortable. The interior feels really well made. It feels plush rather than like a piece of tin. It is a 5 speed automatic."
As I'm sure you know, it helps to cover separate aspects of the car in separate paragraphs. I found your discussion of the interior between those of the engine and transmission puzzling, misplaced "it" aside.
Finally, the "but" above misleadingly implies that a tradeoff exists between power and comfort. These are two totally separate variables, with no tradeoff between them. Handling and comfort are a different matter.

I never fully realized that in the US you buy it as either a 4WD or 2WD (at least I hope this is what you were saying). Up here in Canada, it is one model where you can either switch it into H2, H4, or L4 - which strikes me as being a little more intelligent.
Anyways, a great review, and if you make an updates about how it does in the future, make sure you let me know.
