Many of the things you pointed out, I too observed and agreed with your opinion like Tom Hanks playing along with Steve Martin's joke and Julia Robert's rambling speech. Also I couldn't believe why the academy would show Bob Dylan looking like a psycho. Were his camera angles and lighting planned?
